What is the style of worship?

At First Baptist Van Buren we sing time honored hymns as well as current praise songs. Our service is led by a dynamic praise band and is often accompanied by our worship choir. 

What are the sermons like?

Each Sunday you will hear a powerful message through sound biblical teaching from Pastor Chris Johnson.

What should I wear to church?

From suits to blue jeans, you'll see a variety of dress at First Baptist. We want you to feel comfortable as you attend worship with us.

What about the kids?

Children are welcome to attend our worship services, but we also offer a variety of Sunday-morning programs for children. Nursery and toddler care are provided and we also offer Children’s Church for four years of age through 3rd grade.
